Chlorine-neutralizing vitamin C, real aromatherapy, a sediment filter

Every Aroma Sense shower head works in three ways at once: a vitamin C cartridge neutralizes free chlorine, a microfiber filter traps sediment, and the cartridge adds aromatherapy.

01 Water enters the filter chamber

As you turn on the shower, water flows through the Aroma Sense head and past a microfiber filter that traps rust, sediment and other particles picked up in your pipes.

02 Vitamin C neutralizes chlorine

A replaceable cartridge releases pharmaceutical-grade vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) into the stream. It chemically neutralizes free chlorine, one of the disinfectants used to treat municipal water. Ask your utility whether it uses chlorine or chloramine, since vitamin C cartridges are designed for free chlorine.

03 Essential oils release their aroma

The same cartridge is infused with natural essential oils. Warm water carries the scent into the air for a pleasant aromatherapy shower: lavender to unwind, citrus to wake up, eucalyptus for a fresh, minty note.

04 Precision spray nozzles

Hundreds of small spray holes and an internal flow design give a focused, spa-style spray. A negative-ion element adds to the feel of the shower.

How long does a cartridge last?

Our product pages say to replace a handheld cartridge within 30 to 45 days and a wall-mounted cartridge within 60 to 90 days, depending on how often and how long you shower. The scent fading is a sign it is time for a new one. Cartridges are sold singly and in scent 3-packs.
