Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Aroma Sense collects and how it is used.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payment card information is entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored on our servers.
As you browse, we also collect standard usage information, such as the pages and products you view, cart and purchase events, your approximate location, and your device and browser type, using Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders
- To send order and shipping confirmations
- To send marketing email, only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe at any time
- To send a one-time notice when a sold-out item you asked about is back in stock, and, if you tick the box at checkout, a reminder when it is time to replace your cartridges and filters. Each email has an unsubscribe link
- When you enter your email address at checkout, we save your cart and email address so we can send you one reminder, with a link back to your cart, if you do not finish your order. We delete saved carts after 30 days, and the reminder has an unsubscribe link
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services needed to run the store: our payment processor (Stripe), our shipping carriers, our email provider, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare, which also runs Turnstile, the bot check on our checkout page and may look at signals from your browser to tell people from automated programs), and, if you allow analytics, Google Analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the store so we can improve it. It sets cookies in your browser. Where the law requires your consent (for example in the EU, UK and Switzerland), we load Google Analytics only after you accept. Elsewhere it is on unless you turn it off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page. We also use essential browser storage to remember your cart, theme and sign-in; it does not track you across other sites. Stripe sets its own cookies at checkout to process payments securely.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by contacting us. Depending on where you live, such as California, the EU or the UK, you may have additional rights over your personal information, and we will respect them.
